			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I installed Hardy (8.04) on my laptop because Gutsy did not run very nice out of the box and I was too lazy to make it work smoothly. So I went for the beta version. So far it runs ok. There are glitches, but it&#8217;s stable and it looks good.</p>
<p>I run it on a sony vaio TZ21MN, the smallest of the TZ series.</p>
<p>What works:</p>
<ul>
<li>Graphics on the intel 950</li>
<li>Network, wireless and wired</li>
<li>Sound, including switching off the speakers when I plugin the headphone</li>
<li>All &#8216;special&#8217; keys: volume, brightness, media keys</li>
</ul>
<p>Still strugling with:</p>
<ul>
<li>Suspend, this is extermely annoying since it did work after one update, but died after the next</li>
<li>Webcam, frankly I don&#8217;t care</li>
<li>The MemoryStick and SD slots, irritating, but I can live with this</li>
</ul>
